Highly recommend this class for anyone. I loved the discussion, demonstration, hands on application technique was suited to my learning style. The relaxed pace leaves time for questions and follow up discussions. Sue’s course was well worth the money.

Sue is an excellent instructor. She was patient, approachable and knowledgeable with great guidance during our practical sessions of class. I’m excited to try out my new found skills in the future. Time well spent for sure!

Thank You for continuing to make great art and for trying completely new ideas and techniques. The new, untested stuff can be scary, but often produces the most exciting work. Thanks for being brave.
Matthew Cameron Clark, Artistic Director Boise Contemporary Theater -

Random snippets of thought whilst viewing …simply stunning …I’ll be thinking about this one for days… wonder how she did that? Weighty realization that the line between making “stuff” and making “art” isn’t as fine as I’d like to believe.

I can’t believe how many people love your art…From real sophisticated art lovers to redneck elk-art aficionados.
Lois Heffernan, Director, Garden Valley Center for the Arts -

Sue is a wonderful teacher. She is a knowledgeable welder, a thorough teacher and was very patient with her students. And she’s a great artist! I would highly recommend learning the basics of welding from her.

I just took the intro to welding class & had a blast! Sue was an amazing instructor, very informative and funny. The class was not at all intimidating, in fact I feel very confident & plan to find or create welding projects at home 🙂
Thank you Sue, great class!Sara Baltes -
The intro to learning welding class was great! Sue is an excellent instructor. She has given me the knowledge and the confidence to go and do my own welds!

“We made stuff! I can not recommend Sue Latta enough as a teacher. And a human being. If you’ve ever thought about learning how to weld or do any wood working, check out The Sculpture Studio. I feel like I have mastered the fundamentals and could continue welding on my own. It’s doable!”
